About me
I am a PhD candidate at Michigan Technological University. My research centers on technical communication, usability studies, accessibility, and disability studies, with a particular emphasis on rhetoric. His work investigates the rhetorical choices students make in the writing classroom when designing and composing materials, with attention to how these choices intersect with inclusive and accessible practices. He is especially interested in identifying gaps in accessibility pedagogy and exploring how technical communication can better prepare students to design with diverse users in mind.
