About me
Annelise Doll is a Scholarly Communications Librarian at Michigan Technological University’s Van Pelt and Opie Library, where she supports the use of open educational resources and open licensing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan. A 2022 Creative Commons Certificate holder and a 2023 graduate of the Open Education Network’s OER Librarianship Program, she provides campus- wide support for copyright, Creative Commons licensing, and the adoption, creation, and publication of open educational resources (OER). Annelise also leads a cross-departmental initiative to identify textbooks adopted through the campus store that are available through the library, helping students make informed, cost-saving decisions about course materials. In addition, she chairs the university’s Committee for Accessible and Affordable Course Materials.
